Our team at Hidden Wonders is made up entirely of full-time professional magicians, and we’re thrilled to share the spotlight as they launch their own shows in our venue.

The Cabaret of Wonders — hosted by award-winning magicians Billy and Alex, offers an evening of incredible magic and laughter.

The Wacky Weekend Magic Show — a delightful experience designed for young families to enjoy magic together. It’s also the perfect way to celebrate a child’s birthday—without turning your home upside down!

Looking for an interesting date night or evening with friends? Hidden Wonders is a speakeasy-style performance venue hidden behind a fake business facade in New Westminster’s historic downtown. It is part of a new trend in magic entertainment that focuses less on grand-scale illusions and more on intimate experiences that leave the audience awestruck and moved. Confirmed guests will only be given the address for the venue once their tickets have been purchased.

We offer two types of tickets. 

Our venue seats a total of 30 guests in two sections.

The GENERAL admission tickets are sold as single seats in row 3 to 5 and we have a total of 18 seats. The furtherest seat is just 13 feet from the stage. 

The VIP COUPLES (2SEATS) are sold as a pair of seats in the first two rows. Yes, you get two seats for the price of one ticket. You are also gifted a Hidden Wonders souvenir key and will most likely be asked to help choose what magic is seen in the show. We have 12 seats in VIP so we offer 6 VIP COUPLES (2SEATS) tickets. The front row is about three feet from the stage.

Please note: The experience is not for small children and we do not permit preschoolers to attend so as to not disrupt our other guests.  We recommend the show for children who are old enough to sit and appreciate a 75-minute show, like one would in a theater. Some families find this to be around 8 or 9 years old. If youth are disruptive during the experience you will be asked to exit.  Pets are not permitted, but service animals are welcome.

We ask guests to please arrive 30 minutes in advance of their showtime.

The doors to the showroom open thirty minutes before showtime and the performance begins promptly at the designated hour. Absolutely no late admittance or refunds will be offered.
While we don’t enforce or even have a dress code, we do consider our venue to be a unique experience and ask that you dress to impress but you should also be comfortable. Please, just don’t dress like a slob.
Hidden Wonders is an incredible experience that we’d love for you to share with your family. The experience is not for small children and we do not permit preschoolers to attend so as to not disrupt our other guests, We recommend the show for children who are old enough to sit and appreciate a 75-minute show, like one would in a theater. Some families find this to be around 6 or 7 years old, but you know your child best. Be advised if your child is disruptive you will be asked to leave so others can continue to enjoy the experience.
Sure, if you’d like to capture a memory of a loved one or friend participating in the show, be our guest! We just ask that you do not use flash, or record long videos of the show to preserve the mystery for future guests. We believe so! Hidden Wonders was designed with Shawn's Mother in mind, as she used a wheelchair due to several strokes. The front door has a ramp, all doors and entry points are a minimum of 32" wide and although we have tiered seating, if you call our Box Office in advance, we will offer you a special code to accommodate guests with a wheelchair in the front row, VIP section, for the price of a General admission.  We have also hosted visually and hearing impaired guests who expressed that they enjoyed the experience immensely. We are far from perfect but will do our best to make every guest have a magical experience. Let us know your needs in advance and we will work with you to make the best experience possible.
All of the downtown core of New Westminster is metered parking. There are several parking spots on both sides of the road. If you prefer covered parking there is a lot at 800 Carnarvon Street, which is a few blocks away. As in any city, to help prevent theft, please leave no valuables in your vehicle.
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be allowed on ticket sales.
Shawn previously traveled year-round performing both close-up interactive magic, as well as stage shows but is doing his best to stay locally. He performs for both private functions and corporate events. In addition, the Hidden Wonders showroom is also available for buy-outs!

We are not a licensed venue but we do offer a variety of Coke products, Bottled water, Perrier water, and Jones Sodas. We also offer an assortment of chocolate bars and really great fresh popped Popcorn!
